It was not favor for Vik Bansal to win the job. He has built a good reputation in management and has helped many companies strive in various industries. Being in the industry for more than 20 years has equipped him with relevant skills to make decisive decisions that will help InfraBuild build the foundation for future growth. He has been an employee at the same company way before when it was called OneSteel. During this time, he was the general manager responsible for metal processing and steel distribution. Therefore, he is not new to the company and will ensure that he brings skills to steer the company to greater heights.
Some of the other companies that Vik Bansal has worked at include Cleanaway. This is an Australian waste management company that he helped achieve significant growth. He is still employed at the company as the CEO since he was hired in 2015. His leadership skills are used in Australia and across the continent like the United States and Asia. He was previously the president and COO of Valmont Industries Inc., a global engineering and manufacturing company. He helped the company to greater success, making it listed as a US$3.3 billion NYSE company. He has an MBA at Deakin University and an advanced management program at INSEAD.
