Neil Gerrard is a seasoned public relations professional who has been the lead PR consultant for Dechert LLP. In his role, he manages all external communications and advises on crisis management issues. Neil Gerrard has extensive experience in dealing with high-profile, international clients – from BP to Lehman Brothers – as well as handling media relations during major events such as 9/11 and 7 July 2005 bombings in London.
Successful attorney Neil Gerrard holds a BA (Hons) degree in Communications and Journalism from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Since the beginning and up to now, he is an occasional contributor to the media on issues related to crisis communication and public relations and has taught PR courses at various business schools including Cass business school, City University and Birkbeck College.
